We are hiring!

Aon is currently recruiting a Broking Coordinator to join our Proprietary Facilities Team in London.

This role will work with our London based Marlin Facilities Team and you will support the Aon Reinsurance Solutions broking Network across the Asia Pacific region.

You will be responsible of managing a Property & Power Facility which is backed up by A+ rated Reinsurers from Lloyd´s and company markets.

What the day will look like

Working with colleagues on a variety of Property & Power facultative reinsurance business you will;

• Perform Underwriting of Facultative Business for the Marlin Facilities


• Engage with Aon Reinsurance broking divisions in the APAC Region


• Analyse and track record of all risks being presented to Marlin Facility, loading into the system, gathering of relevant information.


• Assist the APAC brokers to find the best solution when deploying Marlin´s capacity.


• Develop and maintain a good commercial / technical relationship with the APAC network.


Skills and experience that will lead to success


• Reinsurance broking or underwriting experience including project and account management experience


• Experience gained within the London Market


• Language skills: English (High level) and Spanish Language preferred


• Developed negotiation skills


• Good communication skills and comfortable managing relationships internally and externally


• Considers the underwriter's perspective to adapt approach.


• Invests time and resource in Research & Development to find new products/solutions to meet clients' needs


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
