Full Job Description

Strategic Leadership in the APAC Market
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all APAC marketing-related activities, acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners.
+ Deepen the team's understanding of the APAC marketing and retail landscape, including social media platforms, influencers/celebrities (KOLs), retail activations and overall brand perception.
+ Research and identify new partners, technologies, and agencies to drive brand growth and engagement in the Asian market.
+ Monitor competitors and industry trends to provide actionable insights and maintain up-to-date internal and monthly competitor reports.
Content and Campaign Management
+ Lead the coordination of content planning and scheduling for APAC partners, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and tracking execution accuracy.
+ Oversee the creation and translation of digital assets, working closely with creative teams and local marketing agencies to optimize engagement with APAC audiences.
+ Collaborate with external agencies to ensure content quality, tone, and style are on-brand and consistent across channels.
Analytics and Performance Monitoring
+ Track and analyse key performance metrics across social media and commerce platforms, using data to refine strategies and set benchmarks.
+ Oversee the preparation of digital analytics reports for Chinese social media platforms, monitoring paid activities and campaign ROI.
+ Monitor and report on influencer, celebrity, and KOL activities, providing insights into their communications and impact on brand perception.
Project and Stakeholder Coordination
+ Lead and progress key projects identified during APAC focus meetings, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
+ Act as the primary coordinator for partner product pushes, brand initiatives, and agency campaign planning.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the wider marketing, PR, commercial, and retail teams, to support shared campaigns and activations.
Operational Support
+ Coordinate and support local events and activations in the APAC region.
+ Provide ad hoc support for market and product research as needed.
+ Proofread content and translate documents when required.

+ At least 3 years relevant experience
+ Fluent Chinese speaker with strong cultural awareness of the APAC market, particularly China.
+ Expertise in the social media landscape, including platforms such as WeChat (including mini- programme), Weibo, and Redbook (Xiaohongshu).
+ A good understanding or previous experiences of working on Tmall or any Chinese ecommerce platform is preferred
+ Proficient in Excel, Google Documents, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
+ Analytical thinker with high attention to detail and effective time management skills.
+ Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Passion for the fashion industry and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Vivienne Westwood is seeking an APAC Digital and Retail Lead to join the team on a full-time, 12-month basis at our London Head Office, with the possibility of extension, or for the role to become permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the APAC region. The role will involve close collaboration with the Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing and Asian teams, reporting directly to the Head of Digital and the Head of Asian Markets.
This is a key role, driving the coordination and execution of digital and commercial strategies while providing strategic insights into the market. The role requires a deep understanding of marketing as a whole, the Asia market with particular focus to China, and a collaborative approach to leading cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate has a natural passion for fostering partnerships, managing multiple projects, and shaping regional strategies.
