APEX Developer

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc., We are looking for (5 to 8 years experience) Oracle Application Express developer to join our team to assist with the design, development & deployment of the Oracle Health Management System - all built with APEX. This system has been deployed across a number of nations and we are expanding fast.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and lives and breathes APEX development. Due to the nature of the systems we are developing, requirements can be ambiguous, and deadlines days away. If that excites you, then this is where you want to be. We are looking for someone that can complement our development team and expand our capacity to deliver. You should feel at home with full-cycle design and standards-based development within an Oracle APEX context, and have tactical knowledge of data modeling, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and general web development technologies. • Minimum 10 years of Oracle APEX experience is required
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with most of the following (OK if you are less experienced on a couple):
• Oracle Database
• Data Modeling
• PL/SQL
• HTML
• Web Development
• JavaScript
• JSON / RESTful Web Services
• Version Control (Git preferred, but not required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization
• Experience working with Agile development frameworks
