Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer in HIAB UK, you will be responsible to support the HIAB and MULTIFT business lines.Main tasks and responsibilities

• 3D Modelling
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• T/win drawings
• Engineering/ Component drawings
• Works instructions
• Technical trouble shooting
• Conduct sales enquiries and customer visits
• Bodybuilder/ Supplier liaison
• Dealer Support
• Pricing and cost controller
• Standards Compliance Advisor
• Hiab tools (sales). Hi-Select, CPQ, C-Sales, CRM, HiTil support and training if required.
  
  Be qualified to HNC or degree level in Mechanical Engineering
• Should have a minimum of 3years' experience in a Commercial Vehicle Application
• Technical/ Hydraulic/ Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred
• Lorry loader/ Crane/ HGV background - preferred not essential
• Have good technical knowledge
• Possess good I.T. skills, including MS Office and the SAP ERP System
• Knowledge of Solid works or AutoCAD design suits
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders
• Be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with minimal supervision
