Full Job Description

Situated within the Audit Technology Team within KPMG's EWT Function and is a direct report to the Audit Engineering and Support Lead., We are seeking an experienced, skilled and proactive Applications Operations Manager to support and act as a deputy for the Audit Engineering and Support Lead. They will support the successful delivery of all Audit Technology operations within the Audit Technology Delivery support structures which enable and support the Audit Business function and services across the enterprise, delivered by internal and supplier teams.,

  • Stakeholder Management - Maintain stakeholder relationships with supplier, other technology functions and business leaders for all relevant Technology services, that relate to Audit, at a KPMG UK level & Global.
  • Technology - Understanding the Audit Function / applications / platforms to effectively manage expectations on Service Delivery and to collaborate on delivering improvements
  • Supplier Relationships - Develop trust with and amongst the suppliers to utilise their expertise, know-how and innovation to the benefit of the Audit function
  • Team Management - Support the operations team providing coaching and developing them to succeed
  • Transition - Ensure smooth transition of services into/from operations portfolio with suppliers & internal teams
  • Governance - Ensure operational governance processes are correctly followed and adhered to e.g., Change Management

  • Actively engages with others to address their views and concerns., Previous experience in running Service Operations in a large-scale IT environment
  • ITIL v3 Certified
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven understanding of change management processes in a fully change managed environment (ITIL)
  • Experience in managing technical resources
  • Desirable
  • Experience in working in a either a cloud environment or risk and control / assurance environment preferred
