Full Job Description

  • Applies knowledge, skills and training to deliver the information technology solutions required to allow the business to meet its strategic and tactical goals
  • Supports the full systems development lifecycle undertaking application and interface design, architecture, implementation and testing in accordance with the relevant processes and quality requirements. To design, develop, integrate, support and maintain IT software applications in line with business requirements
  • Utilises component specifications for implementation using selected products. Has an understanding on technical aspects of system development and integration and can apply this to relevant technical practices. Maintains an awareness of developing practices and their application
  • Performs a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments. Applies a methodical approach to routine and moderately complex issue definition and resolution. Applies and contributes to creative thinking or finds new ways to complete tasks
  • Carries out agreed operational procedures, including infrastructure configuration, installation and maintenance. Uses tools to collect and report on load and performance statistics and to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure
  • Develops and maintain relationships with stakeholders to meet their requirements, including one to one liaison, setting expectations. Interacting effectively and confidently with the Business Customers, IT Management and Vendors
  • Has a wide experience in diagnosing and resolving incidents and problems and their trends
  • Coordinates and delivers IT activities/projects aligning to IT preferred methodology

  • In person proofing, As an Application Support Engineer, the primary role is to provide first line support to F35 Exostar instance & F35 end users & IIP supply chain, assist in all UAT for MAG & software upgrades. A key role in the On-Boarding/proofing process to get F35 personnel 2FA tokens & certificates installed allowing access to LM toolsets based in USA. Also providing support to Olympia drive file systems, SharePoint Site admin & F-35 Team Database

    Salary: £47,683-£52,426 (dependent on skills and experience), You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
