Full Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our Application Support Team, where you will play a key role in supporting users across the business by ensuring the smooth operation of essential IT applications.

About the role:

Provide day-to-day support for key applications used across the business.

Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, escalating to third-party vendors or developers when necessary.

Perform regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Assist in the implementation and configuration of new applications and software updates.

Develop and maintain documentation for application processes and procedures.

Utilise SQL knowledge to query & update databases.

Work closely with Application Support colleagues, and the wider IT department, to ensure seamless operation of applications.

Proven working experience in an application support role (12 months minimum), ideally within a housing association or the public sector.

Knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and execute queries.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
