Full Job Description

  • Submitting applications to DWP to become Appointee for various benefits, therefore knowledge of benefits would be desirable.
  • Preparing applications for Deputyship to be submitted to the Court
  • Enrolling new clients into different databases/banking platforms.
  • Making payments and purchases on behalf of the clients, e.g. utility bills and clothing.
  • Conducting visits or home visits to review clients under Deputyship Orders.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in a high-pressure environment.
  • You will be part of a small team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability. As well as the colleagues that you work closely with every day, you'll also be part of Team Telford, playing your personal part in making Telford a successful and vibrant place. You will show initiative, be adaptable to change and put forward ideas to help improve delivery and efficiency.
