Apprentice Assistant Practitioner (Radiography)

This is an apprenticeship post, to become an Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Radiography. Academic study will take place undertaking a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care (Level 5 of the apprenticeship standards).

The role of the Apprentice Assistant Radiographic Practitioner is to carry out a limited remit of plain film radiographic examinations under the supervision of an HCPC Registered Radiographer.

Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Radiography (accreditation with the Society and College of Radiographers will be required). There is an opportunity to continue to study to become a Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer.
