Full Job Description

We have an exciting new vacancy within STAR Procurement as an Apprentice Business Administration Assistant. The role consists of a broad range of administrative tasks, and exposure to procurement activity in a 6-partner organisation, with an unmissable opportunity to gain experience in procurement alongside a qualification. Opportunity may exist for the right candidate to progress to Trainee Procurement Officer on completion of apprenticeship.

Salary range Band 1 - £22,366 - £22,737

Trafford Council is a Living Wage Employer - this means that we pay all our staff a minimum of the Real Living Wage rate which is currently £12 per hour. For any periods where our lowest hourly rate drops below the Real Living Wage rate applicable at the time, we provide an hourly supplement to increase pay to this level. This applies to staff who are on the lowest pay point of our Band 1 grade.

Working Pattern Monday to Friday

Working hours 36.25 Hours weekly, 9am 5pm with Flexi Time available
