Full Job Description
- You'll be training under a Head Chef in order to gain your culinary qualification
- You will be performing the day to day tasks of a Chef and learning on the job
- Work well as part of a team, supporting one another and communicating well
- Learning how to follow recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
- Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
- Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
- To share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for the checking, probing and signing of all food deliveries
- To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
- Full knowledge of all menu items served
- Undertake relevant training as required
No experience, just a willingness to learn and a passion for cooking! - Excellent team player and communicator
- Committed to the apprenticeship
- DBS required
- Flexibility and the ability to innovate
Hourly rate of £11.50 per hour - Shuttle bus service
- Full time - 35 hours per week - Monday - Friday
- 7am - 3.00pm
