Given the service needs we are looking for a vibrant, innovative, and charismatic apprentice content creator. If you're passionate about connecting with our target vulnerable audience and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Content Creator Apprentice, you'll be at the heart of our brand, crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience and reflects our values. Whether it's through social media, blogs, videos, or newsletters, you'll play a key role in shaping the voice of New Futures inspiring women and young people alike.

What You'll Do:
Ignite Engagement: Deliver captivating live presentations that educate and inspire vulnerable target individuals.
Connect & Communicate: Use your strong communication skills to interact dynamically with viewers.
Promote the New Futures service: Maintain a strong, authentic presence across social media platforms to promote our aims and objectives together with the full range of support we offer.
Promote sustainability of service: by attracting new funders and donators and interest from local business.

The above will be achieved and supported by an apprentice training course:

  • Planning and developing creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs.

  • Interpreting our strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.

  • Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.

  • Developing and creating written content that can be used across a variety of media.

  • Creating visual and audio content that can be used across a variety of media.

  • Storing content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.

  • Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.

  • Undertaking continuous professional development to keep up to date with trends and technology.

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Strong time management skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines as part of the role and apprenticeship course deadlines.


  • Essential Requirements
  • Ideally some experience of creating digital content

  • Level 2 or Equivalent Maths and English

  • Some exposure/experience with digital marketing automation software

  • Google Analytics

  • Experience with various social media advertising platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

  • Some experience of website editing and of web publishing is desirable

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

    New Futures Project work with Women and Young People in the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland area, who are at risk of or who are being sexually exploited. We have extended our services to provide support to women made particularly vulnerable to sexual exploitation, coercion, or abuse.

  • We want to use the experience and learning we have gained from over twenty years of working with this client group to instigate and support generational change, supporting women to break the cycle of abuse, exploitation, poverty, and marginalisation which in many cases has been present within families for multiple generations.
    Our Approach:
    We work with women and young people in a trauma informed, holistic and non-judgemental way. We are client led and work to support individuals to recognise their strengths. We create a safe and supportive environment to address need, reduce vulnerability and promote independence, helping women and young people to become empowered.
    The New Futures Project provides a wraparound service that focusses on safety and recovery.
    The apprentice role

    Eligibility criteria to enrol onto an apprenticeship in England:
    Must be 16 or over
    living in England
    not in full-time education
    Must have been resident in an EEA country for last 3 years.
    Training
    An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
    Hours: 30 hours
    Salary: £12/hour
