Apprentice Early Years Assistant 1341 First Steps Nursery

A fantastic opportunity has become available at a First Steps Day Nursery, West Midlands. They are looking for an Apprentice Early Years Assistant to join their setting, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children's play, learning & development. Duties Will include

• Caring for children
• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
• Supporting children's play and learning
• Supporting children's development
• Adhere to all safeguarding practices
• Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning, Please ensure you apply early to avoid disappointment.
Whilst on an apprenticeship an apprentice is entitled to an NUS card https://www.apprenticeextra.co.uk/ To become an apprentice, you must:
• be 16 or over
• not already be in full-time education
You can start an apprenticeship whether you're starting your career, want a change or you're upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship. As an apprentice you'll:
• have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
• learn and train for a specific job
  
  Our experienced Management and Staff Team are highly qualified and have many years of experience working in early years settings., Good Communication

• The ability to work as part of a team
• Must be able to follow instructions from the room leader
Qualifications required Non Specific - experience in caring for children would be preferred. Personal qualities

Things to consider Working a minimum of 30 hours , earliest start 7:30am latest finish time 6pm
