Full Job Description
- General office administration including photocopying, faxing, and filing.
- Communicate with all colleagues in a professional, clear and concise manner.
- Meet and greet attendees and speakers at School of Oncology events.
- Take telephone queries relating to any events or programmes and inform appropriate personnel as required and in a timely manner.
- Invest in your personal development to ensure you fulfill learning criteria for Apprenticeship and be proactive in seeking feedback from others and ensure mandatory and essential training is up to date.
- Work with agility to meet the needs of the School of Oncology.
- Undertake identified administrative tasks commensurate with this role
The Christie School of Oncology is looking for a motivated colleague to join our dedicated team. The post holder must be - eligible to undertake and complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst developing the skills and confidence to provide quality administrative support as a member of The Christie School of Oncology. The role will provide the opportunity to work closely with a variety of teams within The School of Oncology to maximise personal development, increased competence and skills and knowledge of our different functions. The Christie is one of Europe's leading cancer centres, treating over 60,000 patients a year. The salary for this role is £22,308 during the 18 month training/apprenticeship period rising to Band 3 (£24,071 - £25,674) upon successful completion. Please note Interview to be held (in person): Monday 16th December 2024, Meeting Room, Department 58, School of Oncology
