Full Job Description

As an apprentice parts advisor, you will undergo apprenticeship training to develop within your role. Your training will give you the skills of;

  • Mechanical awareness and understanding of cars and car parts

  • Knowledge of Kerridge DMS

  • Enhance your customer service skills

  • Working as part of a team, to support the achievement of increased profit and sales


  • The role of a parts advisor has the responsibilities of;

  • To handle customers enquires swiftly, courteously, and efficiently

  • To communicate effectively by e-mail, telephone and face to face.

  • To record all items supplied to customers

  • To maintain high level of customer satisfaction, paying attention to manufacturers guidelines and Group CSI

  • To observe all health and safety regulations and COSHH regulations. Also, all company agreed policies in line with code of practice

  • The ability to work both as part of a team but also individually

  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good IT skills
