Full Job Description

This role will help you develop strong administrative skills while building and managing relationships with both internal and external partners. You will support the Commissioning Team's Engagement Officer, focusing on interactions with adult social care partners, including health and social care practitioners, the Coventry Migration and Refugee Team, and the Modern Slavery Lead. The position involves one-on-one interactions with internationally recruited care workers to understand their needs and aspirations. You will also engage in high-quality customer service, assisting with greeting customers, employers, and visitors, and supporting the Commissioning team as needed. You will undertake the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).,

  • The pre-interview is a short session to give the candidates further details of the apprenticeship role and to help them understand what to expect from and how to prepare for the final interview. You will also complete a short diagnostic assessment to check the level of Maths and English that they are currently working at and identify any support they may require.

    The Commissioning Team are seeking a candidate who has the initiative and willingness to learn. Who is keen to work and learn within a small, dynamic team consisting of colleagues with a range of experience working with internal and external colleagues in the city. The candidate should be able to showcase a good set of organisational skills, managing their time well by assessing prioritised tasks, be able to manage a broad range of tasks in a busy environment and display a strength in empathy when working with individuals in vulnerable situations.
