Full Job Description

The Top Up to Registered Nurse Apprenticeship will run over 18 months. You will be paid at a band 4 agenda for change. On qualification you will be required to interview for a Qualified Nurse role that may differ to the current work base dependant on service needs.

Will be subject to an end point assessment at the end of the course as per apprenticeship standards

These exciting posts are open to staff already working within the Trust. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months recent experience in a health and clinical based role.,

  • Have Maths and English GSCE at C/4 or above or equivalent such as Level 2 Functional Skills.

  • Meets the entry requirements for University (see attached documents) All qualifications will be assessed on an individual basis.

  • Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate qualification or equivalent., Must undergo training as required.

  • Need to complete and pass all course modules and clinical competencies within contract period.

  • Insight into role and responsibilities of post.

  • Basic IT skills

  • Knowledge of - Principles of infection prevention and control - Customer relations - Maintaining a safe environment - Emergency procedures - Equality and diversity

  • Open to other learning opportunities within the Trust., Minimum of 6 months recent experience in a health and clinical based role
