Full Job Description

You will work alongside the Education and SEND Service Improvement Teams to support services within the Education Division. You will also contribute to the core work of the Education Service Improvement Team to support traded services with our Services to Schools portal.

  • Personal attributes such as excellent timekeeping and attendance, reliable, good communication skills, can work as part of a team and/or use their own initiative.
  • Attained Level 2 qualifications in Maths & English (equivalent to a GCSE grade 4 / C or above).
  • Willingness and ability to undertake formal training relating to successful achievement of your trainee / apprenticeship.
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for the apprenticeship applied for.
  • Have a flexible approach towards your work location, hours of work and duties.

    This apprenticeship role is working towards the full role of Service Improvement Assistant, N5 £26,873-£28,770 per annum.
  • In year 1 you will be paid 60% of the salary rate, or National Minimum Wage (NMW), whichever is higher.
  • In year 2 you will be paid 65% of the salary rate, or NMW, whichever is higher.
  • Qualification: Business Admin Level 3
  • Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
  • Holidays: 25 days (including paid time off work to attend college)
  • Contract type: Fixed term 2 years
