Apprentice Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair from routine servicing to complete component overhaul of vehicle systems. Electronic fault diagnosis using the latest equipment now forms part of every working day at Volkswagen retailers.

Technicians are also vital to customer care. The service offered by the workshop is often a major factor for customers when choosing a new car.

You need to have a keen interest in the motor vehicle industry and you need to be fully committed to completing the course in order to qualify as a highly skilled Technician.

Following the three year programme you will achieve an NVQ level 3 in Maintenance and Repair of Light Vehicles.

To be successful we need enthusiastic, customer focused people with a real interest in the motor industry. The minimum requirements for this role is grade C (4) in Maths, English & Science.
