You will have the opportunity to join one of our small, fast-paced, agile delivery teams; using agile methodology and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps for customers in the UK Government and Defence sector.
An Apprentice Software Engineer at CACI works in a supportive, flexible working environment where you will grow your technical knowledge and apply this on live customer projects. You will have the opportunity to join one of our small, fast-paced, agile delivery teams; using agile methodology and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps for customers in the UK Government and Defence sector. This will include :
- Working as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver solutions
- Creating logical and maintainable code
- Developing effective user interfaces
- Involvement in the design and development of applications and services across the stack, along with the cloud infrastructure they run on
- Taking on real business challenges in software engineering and receive training and support throughout
- Learning and working with some of the most advanced technologies, enabling you to develop a broad range of competencies including teamwork, communication and leadership skills The Fit : We are looking to speak with individuals who are passionate about technology, looking to start their career within Software Engineering in a consultancy environment. You will be able to demonstrate this passion through personal projects or academic studies, together with either of the following :
- , 3 x A level Grade B or above in STEM related subjects
