Full Job Description

The Surgical Division are looking to appoint a TCI Clerk to support the booking of elective activity.

The successful candidate will have experience of using Cerner and ideally have TCI training, although this is not essential as training will be provided. They should have good people skills and be able to prioritise their own workload. Although English and Maths at level 2 is not required for the role, it is a requirement to complete the apprenticeship and need to be in place by the end of the apprenticeship. If you do not hold or cannot evidence English and Maths at level 2 then support will be provided for the successful applicant(s) as part of the Trust's apprenticeship offer.

  • Whilst this role is being advertised as a fixed term position, there is an expectation that the successful applicant must complete all elements of the apprenticeship. The successful applicant will be placed on a fixed term apprenticeship contract for the duration of the programme. Leading up to the completion of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be supported in finding alternative employment opportunities.
