Little Green Man is looking for some of the brightest and most passionate apprentices adn students to come and work with us.

• Purpose of Post
• To work under the direction of the Manager/Room Leader/Nursery Assistant
• Assist in providing high standards of childcare, to include a safe, caring environment to enable emotional, social, and
educational development of the children.
• To ensure that the children under supervision receive the highest possible standard of childcare and professional practice in
the Nursery. Responsible to : Nursery Assistant/Room Leader/Manager/Deputy Manager/Proprietor Main Duties
• To provide a high standard of quality care
• Be aware of and act in accordance with Nursery policies and procedures
• To assist in the implementation and participate in activities and programmes devised to promote all aspects of the
development of the children and to keep effective records of the children's progress when directed to do so.
• To ensure that a safe and healthy environment exists at all times.
• To attend college and complete all assignments set in required time
• To attend training meetings which may be outside Nursery hours
• To inform Room Leader/Manager of social, physical and emotional well being of children in his/her care
• To ensure that all relevant information is recorded or passed on to other staff as appropriate at the end of each day or
shift.
• To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers
