Job Advertisement: Apprenticeship Liaison Officer (Temporary Role) Position: Apprenticeship Liaison Officer Location: Portsmouth Department: Carpentry & Joinery, Multi-Trade Apprenticeships Duration: 4 weeks (until October half term) Are you an experienced Apprenticeship Liaison Officer with a strong track record in conducting apprenticeship reviews? Do you have expertise in Carpentry & Joinery and Multi-Trade apprenticeships? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team on a 4-week temporary basis to ensure all apprenticeship reviews are completed by the October half term. Key Responsibilities: Conduct apprenticeship reviews for Carpentry & Joinery and Multi-Trade apprentices. Collaborate with training staff, assessors, and employers to gather feedback on apprentice performance, progress, and development needs. Ensure apprentices meet key milestones and identify areas for additional support or improvement. Maintain accurate records of reviews and assessments in line with
college policies and external regulatory requirements. Provide constructive feedback to apprentices to help them reach their full potential. Liaise with employers to ensure apprentices are progressing as per the agreed training plans and objectives. Report any concerns regarding apprentice progress or performance to the appropriate department heads. Ensure that all reviews are completed by the October half-term deadline. Skills and Requirements: Proven experience in conducting apprenticeship reviews, particularly in Carpentry & Joinery or Multi-Trade sectors. In-depth understanding of the apprenticeship frameworks and standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with apprentices, staff, and employers. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reviews and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with relevant compliance and regulatory frameworks for apprenticeships. IT literacy, with experience in using
apprenticeship tracking software and databases. A proactive and solution-oriented approach to supporting apprentices and identifying any areas for development. Why Join Us?
