Full Job Description

We are excited to be expanding our animal care team by recruiting this part-time managerial position. The successful candidate will be passionate about animal welfare and research excellence and looking for an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, forward-thinking and vibrant team at a leading research University. The role will oversee the University aquarium and the training and mentoring of a small team of technical staff; transferring knowledge and skills in an effective manner and encouraging others to be the best they can be. Accordingly, staff must be highly dependable and able to demonstrate in a consistent and reliable manner the behavioural competencies necessary in valuing others.

The post is offered on a part time (7.25 hours per week), fixed term contract for one year.
