Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our arb team.
We are looking for an experienced and well motivated arborist to join our dynamic team, to help ensure that all WFDC trees remain in a safe and healthy condition.
As part of our Arb Team you will work as both a lead climber and a groundsman, using specialised equipment in order to maintain trees to a high standard, whilst also ensuring that safe working practices are applied at all times, protecting personal and public safety.
You will be working in a range of different landscapes, parks, Nature Reserves, roadsides, as well as providing services to external clients, incorporating schools and local businesses.
Additional Information

  • The role will require you to work flexibly on a rota basis covering a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, bank holidays and Christmas working

  • This job includes duties that may require a substantial amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis

  • Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
