Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an Assistant / Architectural Technologist who is seeking to gain experience in assisting in the design and delivery of architectural and multi-discipline projects.

The projects for this role will be of varying type, size and complexity. Project work will primarily be within the Defence, Nuclear and Government sectors though complimented by other redevelopment and community opportunities.

The projects will have a strong southwestern regional focus, but with opportunities to work nationally and internationally for our UK Government clients.

You will support our national design team as well as our team based in the Bristol office.

We expect you to have a hybrid working arrangement with a proportion of your working week in the office, learning from more experienced colleagues.

You will be an enthusiastic Architectural Technologist who has good knowledge of the design of buildings and facilities. This will include from inception to completion, with emphasis on RIBA Stages 2 to 4. We expect you to have some relevant experience.

You will have experience of delivering to BIM level 2 (and beyond) including being a competent Revit user.

You will also have the ability to employ a range of drawing, modelling and interpersonal skills to engage, influence and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong numeracy, analytical and report writing skills with an attention to detail.

You will help our multi-disciplinary team solve complex problems and have an aptitude for working on unique challenges and projects

You will be prepared to apply for SC clearance (UK Government security clearance).

Due to the nature of the role you must have a Full UK driving licence.
