Designs architectural systems projects to concept stage meeting business, statutory legal and contractual requirements with an ensuing role of technical assurance manager ensuring that the design principles are maintained by the contractor through the developed design and construction. Responsible for supporting (area/discipline/specialism), using sound technical/functional capabilities.
You'll be responsible for:
Develops and manages planning applications and building regulation applications.
Seeks opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Manages stakeholders.
Manages deliverables through direct reports.
Provides designs and manages the developing design as per contract requirements.
Collaborates with the wider design disciplines, client personnel and construction teams.
Assists with the production of reporting information.
Attends/participates in client meetings and design workshops as necessary.
Monitors work outputs to ensure it is timely, in scope and of a quality expected.
Engages with business improvement directives.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
Competent in statutory regulations and standards.

Effective technical competence, capability, knowledge & application of all Architectural systems.
Relevant industry qualification (or equivalent).
Knowledge of the construction & consultancy industry.
Good knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools.
Good written skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly.
Good organisational skills making meeting arrangements, planning own work.
Ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
Enthusiastic.
Ability to adapt to change.
Listens and clarifies to check understanding.
Uses the most appropriate method and style of communication.
Involves and encourages.
You'll also have:
Degree qualified (or equivalent).
Chartered professional.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to utilise Revit software and associated digital tools.
Work from their own initiative showing leadership and working with others.
