Area Controller

As our Area Controller you will be accountable for providing accurate and timely accounting across our manufacturing sites. Other activities include implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets, accuracy of inventory and expense charges, and maintaining the reporting and recording of all production activity (raw materials, conversions, and finished goods).

This position looks after sites in the UK including Sheffield and Bolton and also two others sites within Europe, one in Germany and one in Poland. There is an expectation that the position is remote with travel to one of the sites for 1 week a month (25% travel). Ideally a UK based person would be best suited due to the amount of work on the UK sites.

This position is ideal for someone with accounting experience and qualifications and excellent stakeholder engagement and people management experience. Knowledge and experience of manufacturing an advantage.
