This position works out of Maidenhead location in Abbott Nutrition. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the FP&A Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of all financial planning processes, including consolidation, reporting and management analysis for the EMEA Area of Abbott's Nutrition Division. This role is also responsible for the Area Headquarter budget and must ensure strong and effective financial controls are in place and executed. What You'll Do

  • Lead Monthly Sale Flash Process with preparation of template, consolidation, validation, and refinement of commentary to align with causals.
  • Support consolidation and analysis of the Quarterly RLBE and Annual Planning processes, including preparation and review of the EMEA Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Currency Exchange, and Risks/Opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis of EMEA monthly/quarterly/year-to-date financial results, highlighting and investigating key variances.
  • Coordinate the month-end close process, assisting affiliates as appropriate to ensure accurate results and financial records
  • Support affiliates to resolve issues requiring elevation or investigation across a wide range of topics, including transfer price, COGS and TCGM and HOST Analytics planning software.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to manage EMEA Area departmental budgets providing appropriate analysis and monthly LBE forecasting of financial position. In addition, responsible for timely and accurate completion of month end close activities and forecasting.
  • Responsible for balance sheet reporting, including DOH and DSO each month for financial close.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Understanding of commercial FP&A and technical accounting issues
  • Analytical and problem solving skills; ability to identify and concisely communicate the business implications of forecasts and actual results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role interfaces across all affiliates within the Area
  • Candidate must possess strong PC/system skills; specifically Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Candidate experience should reflect:
  • Minimum passed finalist / Newly qualified accountant
  • University Graduate or Equivalent. Passed Finalist or Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA preferred). Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
