This is a full time, fixed term role for up to one year. What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement a plan for music education in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells
  • Manage instrumental and vocal tuition registration, working with area administrators to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Oversee music centre activities, performances, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment with Kent Music's safeguarding and inclusion policies.
  • Build and manage partnerships with schools, music practitioners, and other stakeholders to enhance music opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, collect data, and provide reports on all activities.
  • Line manage an area administrator and music centre staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and administration.

Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Proven experience in music education, particularly in building instrumental and vocal tuition programs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Experience in working with schools and managing budgets.
  • Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and youth engagement.
