Area Manager (Operations)

We're looking for a Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Area Manager to join our Transportation in Area 4. In this role you'll manage both internal and external operations, oversee the day-to-day functions of the routine maintenance, reactive works and small works schemes and ensure a high level of service is maintained throughout., As a M&R Area Manager, you'll work closely with all other teams, to ensure operational effectiveness for severe weather service, cyclical and reactive maintenance tasks and emergency response.

Your day to day will include:

• Manage the programming and delivery of maintenance and reactive works and severe weather services


• Manage the emergency response, organize reactive repairs, and ensure contract requirements are met


• Manage and ensure site inductions/briefings/Toolbox talks and maintenance / reactive records are completed, and accurate records are stored correctly


• To be in liaison with the Fleet / Transport Manager to ensure maintenance of vehicles and plant is up to date and when required for servicing


• Responsible for the compliance and management of CPF results relative to M&R operations
  
  Experience working with National Highways SDMs to achieve collaboration on all aspects of the maintenance and reactive contrac

Location: Area 4 Depot - site based
Contract: 12 months Fixed Term - Fulltime
Salary: £55k - £57k + private health care + car allowance + benefits
