Art Activity Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Art Activity Leader to join the team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. The ideal candidate will be able to create a stimulating and enjoyable environment where the children can explore their creativity and learn new art techniques. If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you. This position is contracted on a 8.25 per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. • Support high quality, child-centred Art activities that meet the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.
• Provide a safe, stimulating environment, ensuring toys and resources are properly used, maintained and stored, reporting any worn/damaged materials to the Manager.
  
  Ability to support art and craft activities that children enjoy
• Ability to contribute to a safe and calm play-based environment
• Understands the value of play based learning
