Full Job Description

As an Art Director working for Digitas Health London, you will focus on creating work that benefits the end customer while pushing the creative envelope from brief to execution. You will lead the conceptual, visual direction of our brands and develop innovative solutions that drive business results. You will play a crucial role in both the business success and the culture of the agency. We are seeking a talented midweight Art Director who is conceptually minded and able to take creative and strategic thinking and convert it into beautiful work through the initial ideation stage, design concepts and final delivery. You challenge how things are done and are always looking for a unique way to bring brands to life in a digital environment. You're a great communicator, engaging clients and colleagues alike with presentation skills often as powerful and persuasive as your creative. Your expertise in visual storytelling is essential for the success of campaigns and projects in the modern digital landscape. Responsibilities

  • Creates intuitive, strategic concepts and solutions to a variety of briefs
  • Works in a team with a copywriter to develop insightful ideas and produce engaging products across all platforms. Equally can collaborate with other member of creative and design team on projects
  • Works alongside medical copywriters and other designers to develop exceptional creative output and relevant work, using the appropriate tools
  • Sells the work with concise, convincing rationales and persuasive presentations and narrative
  • Takes responsibility for the quality of art direction on assigned accounts
  • Confidently leads creative discussions with clients, colleagues and partners; constructively resolves challenges
  • Works in close, strong relationships with account leads and clients; informs management of account status, issues, and plans; identifies support needs
  • Maintains a profile as a source of inspiration for creativity in healthcare and beyond
  • Ensures strategy is clearly and cohesively applied; identifies where objectives are not being met or delivery is threatened and provides potential solutions
  • Takes a role in development of creative content for proposals and pitches; proactively identifies organic growth opportunities for client and agency business
  • Manages work independently, under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects
  • Supports the culture of the agency and champions the brand at all times

    You are a midweight art director who produces extraordinary work. You are strong strategically and adept with clients. You're a conceptual thinker who's able to take creative and strategic thinking and convert it into exceptional work across multiple platforms with digital at the core.
  • You work well with others in a multidisciplinary team to provide brand communications that challenge the health industry norm. You love what you do, and are committed to developing yourself and those around you.
  • Proven conceptual creative (Art Director) experience at advertising agencies and/or as an in-house creative. Healthcare experience preferred, but not essential
  • Significant proven experience of art direction, maintaining high standards across multiple accounts (experience in healthcare advertising ideal)
  • A strong, varied conceptual and design portfolio demonstrating award-worthy digital centric ideas and brand experiences.
  • In-depth understanding of industry design tools (Ex. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma)
