Art & photography and Design & Technology Technician

We are looking to recruit a technician to support the Art, Photography and Technology departments. The time would be divided amongst the following subjects: Art, Photography, Food Preparation and Nutrition, Textiles and 3D design (Product design). We seek to appoint those with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. As a technician you will support the departments in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. To assist teachers and support teaching and learning you will sometimes be required to work with small groups of students.

The successful applicant will support teaching and learning by ensuring that all practical, demonstration, and assessment activities are met safely. You should be flexible and organised, and have the ability to work independently. Relevant technical and practical experience of using Art and technology equipment is desirable although training will be provided for the right candidate.
