We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our supportive team starting in January 2025. Role Overview: As an Art Teacher, you will: Teaching and Curriculum:

  • Deliver inspiring and creative art lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level Art for the right candidate.
  • Create and adapt curriculum materials to meet students' diverse needs, ensuring they have access to a broad range of artistic experiences.
  • Foster creativity and self-expression, encouraging students to explore various artistic media and techniques in a supportive environment.
  • Student Progress:
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback to help students grow both academically and personally.
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching, providing individualized support to ensure every student's needs are met and they reach their full potential.
  • Professional Development:
  • Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the continuous development of the Art department and the wider school community.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives to enhance the student experience and promote the importance of the arts in school life.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related discipline (desirable).
  • Experience:
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary school level, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentorship as they develop their practice.
