Full Job Description

Denstone College is excited to offer an opportunity for a creative Art Technician with a specialism in photography, to join our friendly and supportive Art department starting January 2025. The successful candidate will support the Art department, deliver small group photography workshops and manage creative displays across the College, under the direction of the Head of Art. We will welcome applications from recent College/University graduates or individuals who have experience of working in photography. The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant photography qualification or experience.
  • Be proficiency in photography and handling related equipment.
  • A strong knowledge of photography.
  • Confidence in teaching photography skills to pupils.
  • An enthusiasm for and commitment to photography.
  • Ability to work independently within the department.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, students and parents.
