Full Job Description
Post Holder will work across the South Enfield Integrated Core Mental Health Team as an autonomous clinical practitioner planning and providing an arts psychotherapies service, including treatment and ongoing evaluation, drawing on the evidence base specific to clinical area. The post will also include involvement in treatment planning, consultation and advice giving in art therapy to other staff. The post holder will be expected to contribute to ongoing service development and clinical governance processes, engage in supervision of trainee art therapists and be involved in training and research initiatives as appropriate., · To provide assessment, formulation and treatment for patients of the the Enfield Integrated Core Mental Health Teams using appropriate specialised Art Therapy approaches. You will be allocated to work in the south core team however this may change based on service requirements and demands.
· To provide Art Therapy sessions, including group and individual work.
· To maintain systems for prioritising referrals to Art Therapy and maintain a waiting list as needed.
· To carry a caseload of Art Therapy patients as negotiated with the OT & AHP Lead/core team leads.
· To carry out or be involved the review Dialog+ assessment for service users within the Enfield Integrated Core Mental Health Team
· To work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, developing good staff relations and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team on clinical issues., · To use appropriate assessments and outcome measures to be able to audit and evaluate the effectiveness of art therapy delivered within the service.
· To provide specialist clinical placements and supervision for honorary contract holders undertaking Art Therapy training as part of the capital AHP fair share model for practice placements.
· Provide timely written summaries of the art psychotherapy service over selected time periods; translating these highly complex client and therapist experiences into reports and recommendations that inform and assist colleagues.
· To work autonomously within British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) guidelines and the overall framework of the Trust's policies and guidelines.
· To maintain and develop the highest standards of practice, through active participation in continuing professional development and maintaining an active engagement with current developments in psychological practice in areas related to the post.
· To raise the profile and understanding of Art Therapy within the core team and be the voice of Art therapy as the only art therapist within the team.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work.
