Arts Centre Assistant

Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Arts Centre Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring that all visitors have a positive and enriching experience.,

• Assist in the planning and delivery of arts and cultural programs and events.
• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, answering queries and offering assistance as needed.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the centre, including setting up and taking down equipment for events.
• Support administrative tasks such as booking management, record keeping, and handling correspondence.
• Collaborate with other team members to promote the centre's activities and engage with the local community.
  
  A passion for the arts and a commitment to promoting cultural activities.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer service environment.
• Knowledge of local arts and cultural organisations.
