Within your category as a Buyer, you'll drive sales and profit targets for your category by developing and executing a strategic Trading Plan. Collaborate with your Category Manager and work cross-functionally to ensure your category thrives.

• Deliver sales and profitability targets for your category.


• Develop a 2-year Category Strategy with market and customer insights.


• Propose and execute a 12-month trading plan, negotiating promotional support with suppliers.


• Identify shortfalls and propose remedial actions to achieve KPIs.


• Maintain competitive awareness and use market insights to inform trading plans.


• Manage range changes and execute exit strategies where necessary.


• Prepare and deliver presentations to secure business support and engagement.


• Participate in financial budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Experience in retail trading, buying, or a similar role.
