Full Job Description

As an Assembly Operative at Apeks Marine Equipment Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality diving equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble various components with precision and care, ensuring that each product meets our stringent quality standards., Reporting to the Assembly Leadership Team the job holder will be responsible for:

  • Building products in a timely manner within specifications by following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that the required quality standards are met.

  • Assembling small to medium sized products using their own dexterity, hand, electronic and air driven tools

  • Testing Products to strict pre-determined standards and Procedures

  • Maintenance of good housekeeping

  • Packaging products in line with agreed standards

  • Supporting the business in stock control procedures.

    Have an eye for detail

  • Have excellent manual dexterity

  • Be able to demonstrate a focus on quality

  • Understand the impact of their actions & workmanship.

  • Have A good understanding of Health & Safety.

  • Knowledge of 6S Housing-keeping and lean processes preferred but not essential

  • Willing to be flexible.

  • Be time served in a fast-paced assembly environment

  • Have a good understanding of the English Language.

  • Good numerical skills required.
