Full Job Description

Gloucester is home to the UK division and has been a leader of cutting edge of landing gear technology for over 90 years, since the innovative designs of Sir George Dowty. YOU can be a part of our legacy… What will I be doing?

  • To ensure all the labels and equipment list are checked and available for the inspectors
  • o Ensure the traceability labels for different units/sub assemblies are created and check their conformity
  • To create the folios for all line replacement units and landing gears assembled and inspected in Gloucester (folios are the files containing the list of all parts fitted to the landing gears, critical for traceability)
  • To perform quality check of the layouts/assembly paperwork of landing gear before passing them to inspectors and to escalate any identified issues
  • To ensure all serial numbers for critical parts are recorded in layouts and check them against FOLIO entries
  • To generate and print CT176 labels
  • To generate and circulate the serial numbers for all landing gears
  • To perform quality checks and validate paperwork for all bought in/supplied parts
  • To request EASA form 1 to the dispatch team in advance of inspection starting
