Full Job Description

The Asset Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Asset Appraisal Manager and the Asset Appraisal team by delivering accurate reporting, administrative coordination, and operational oversight to optimise the performance and value of property assets. Demonstrate these values in intent and behaviour in all interactions. Organising and maintaining files, records and databases related to asset management. Scheduling and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points. Processing purchase orders, tracking expenditure, and resolving anomalies. Maintaining the approved contractor list and coordinating with external consultants for valuations, surveys, and related tasks. Managing ad-hoc requests and providing general administrative assistance to the team, including arranging site visits, and preparing relevant documentation. To provide monthly and ad-hoc performance statistics and reporting to business stakeholders on a range of key performance targets. Assisting in the planning and delivery of training workshops or events related to asset management. Provide administrative support and undertake ad-hoc projects under the direction of the Asset Appraisal Manager. More about you

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A

  • Understanding of property assets and components Ability to extract reports from ICT systems and validate information as correct Highly organised and able to co-ordinate and service meetings and events Demonstrate strong teamwork skills including the ability to collaborate effectively Able to take accurate and concise minutes Able to quickly and accurately organise and transpose simple data between systems and spreadsheets Good verbal and written communication skills Able to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines Minimum of basic level MS Excel & Word Join us in making a tangible impact on housing in the UK, where your expertise contributes directly to improving lives and shaping thriving communities.
