Full Job Description

  • Develop the short-term planning to be delivered by Line Technicians of asset care activities within the Performance Unit optimising time, cost and reliability of the assets

  • Monitor all maintenance tasks to ensure they are developed with the right standard tasks and identify technical training needs for the Line Technicians

  • In collaboration with the Team Leaders, assess the effectiveness of the maintenance plan

  • Ensure the availability of spare parts needed for the planned tasks and continuously seek for alternatives that could minimise Maintenance & Repair expenses without losing asset reliability

  • Ensure accuracy of the data introduced in our maintenance platform (SAP PM) enables accurate reporting and analysis

  • Support the Reliability Engineers, through the use of Continuous Improvement tools, to review and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance plans

  • Create and update the technical documents which detailed instructions for asset care for equipment and work areas to the standards and frequencies expected to ensure assets are kept in good working order as well as the most common corrective maintenance activities

  • Keep a safe, clean and tidy environment within the work area

    Health, Safety & Environment training/knowledge.

  • Data gathering and reporting.

  • Contractor Management.

  • Effective communicator and planner.

  • Computer literate., Mechanical/electrical maintenance as a Technician, in the FMCG environment

  • SAP PM and line information systems (mainly LineView)- developing deep dive analysis with the data extracted from these systems
