Full Job Description

Neway has a vacancy for an Asset Officer to join our client based with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets., This role is starting asap, working 35 hours a week in an ongoing contract.

You o join Housing Asset Management and Compliance. The post-holder will be required to work 2 days per week at the Tower Hamlets Town Hall 160 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BJ, and 3 days per week remotely.

The post-holder will be working closely within the Housing Asset Management to successfully deliver the Team Plan in the following areas:

- to maintain the documentation and databases for our statutory compliance programmes for asbestos, water hygiene and electrical testing
- to assist with updating NEC Risk Management
- to update and develop the use of Active Plan system for our high-rise blocks
- to occasionally assist with managing the team inbox as a cover for asset support assistant.

We are interested in hearing from individuals with proven analytical skills who can demonstrate where they have used MS Excel to maintain databases and dealt with customers' queries in writing.

The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective and productive working relationships with colleagues, solicitors, framework contractors and consultants.

Previous experience of using NEC (previously Northgate) Housing would be advantageous, however full training will be provided and of greater importance are a keen eye for detail, diligence and willingness to help the team to successfully accomplish our goals.

Selection Process
The selection process will include a 30-minute assessment on the use of Excel at an intermediate level and writing skills, followed by an interview via MS Teams.
