Full Job Description
Quorn Foods are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to support an ongoing Supply Chain Transformation project and join our Finance function on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
What you'll be responsible for:
Reporting to our Supply Chain Finance Transformation Lead, you will provide day-to-day support to ultimately help deliver a number of targeted savings and operational efficiencies within our supply chain.
Typically, you will be tracking and reporting monthly project costs across both OPEX and Capital, whilst supporting the development of a robust forecasting process and ensure benefits flow through end-to-end product supply. You will also be responsible for developing a reporting mechanism to track yield/waste actuals and work with our manufacturing sites and supply network to establish root cause analysis.
This will be an 12 month fixed term contract position with a hybrid working arrangement. Typically, you will be based on-site 2-3 days per week with flexibility to work remotely when required.
Presentable background in an accounting position within industry, comfortable in reporting, data analysis, assisting in the production of management accounts and operational finance processes
- Ideally present a background of working in a manufacturing organisation previously
- Excellent system skills with confidence to report from SAP and a high level of proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with a variety of colleagues at different levels across the organisation
