Assistant Accountant - Full Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join our existing finance team for the UK & Ireland business at Medvivo, part of the HealthHero group. As an Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include revenue billing, credit control, payment schedules & monthly accruals by working closely with finance and functional teams across the business. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent cross-team communicator, have an accounting background and be passionate about using multiple systems & spreadsheets to simplifyprocesses., To be successful in this role, you should have a keen interest in healthcare, data analysis & accounting functions. Your main day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

• Monthly invoicing and calculating month-end accruals
• Interacting and liaising with the commercial and customer success team for regular updates
• Credit control functions - Sending weekly statements/reminders and developing a positive and proactive approach to solving customer queries. Understanding & reacting swiftly to queries in order to improving cashflow. Weekly reports to the management and account managers
• Checking and producing monthly affiliate payment schedule for UK and Ireland business
• Checking invoice payment schedules for General Practitioners
• Maintain billing and support shared inboxes with members of the finance team
• Collaborating and provide support to the wider finance team in UK and Ireland
• Producing audit schedules and reconciliations
