From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). The Community Children's Nursing Admin Team are currently recruiting a band 2 Assistant Administrator.
You will be supporting a number of the nursing teams including community children's nursing, paediatric phlebotomy, children's diabetes, children's continence and the school aged immunisation service.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to provide this administrative support. Duties will include dealing with incoming telephone calls, general office duties, data input, scanning, word processing, booking appointments and any other duties which may be necessary to ensure the smooth running of the service.
You must be experienced in using Microsoft Office products, (Outlook, Word and Excel) and ideally you will have experience using Rio or similar NHS systems, however training will be provided.
The post holder will be required to work 4 days a week Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

This will include anxious and upset parents.
+ To book clinical appointments and send out appointment letters.
+ To use computer technology for updating clinical records and data input.
+ To undertake general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, filing and other routine administrative and clerical tasks.
+ To receive and send information using a variety of methods e.g. electronic, internal post, Telephone ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
