Full Job Description

Providing administration support within the Equalities team, you will ensure records and reports are up to date. You will be joining a small, experienced team who are friendly and welcoming, where training and support will be given. What you will be doing:

  • You will act as a main point of contact for the Equalities team, providing administrative support to ensure work carried out is efficient and procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Day to day, you will deal with enquiries and information requests in the form of emails and telephone calls.
  • Regularly, you will schedule, set up and support a variety of meetings ensuring that accurate minutes are taken.
  • It will be your responsibility to maintain records and analyse information to ensure accurate statements are produced and data retrieved from computerised systems can be interpreted clearly.
  • We require you to research equalities performance related information and collate evidence for presentation in reports. This may include drafting sections of documents for use by others.
  • You will be required to accurately record and assist in the monitoring and maintaining of budgets, financial information, and resources.

    It is essential for you to have previous experience of administrative processes and procedures or working with financial records.
  • You will have a good level of IT knowledge and its practical application, including experience of using MS Office.
  • Although not essential, you may have NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject area such as business administration.

    What you need to know
  • This is a part-time role, working 18.5 hours per week. Your salary will be pro-rated to hours worked.
  • This is a limited term contract, ending 30th June 2026.
  • Working days will be negotiable although Wednesdays will be the team office day.
