Full Job Description

Epsom College, a vibrant independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs, is looking to recruit a part time Assistant Art Technician to join a thriving and busy department and assist with the preparation of classes, materials and equipment within the Art school.

Working with our senior technician, the successful candidate will ideally come from an artistic background and will have a real passion for the subject. You will have a hands-on approach supporting the departmental staff with all aspects of art and lesson preparation as well as general studio and prep room assistance. You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and a proactive can-do approach. Good knowledge of art and design materials and equipment - especially experience of sculpture, model making, woodwork or other 3D disciplines - is desirable, as well as experience of working within an educational environment.
