Your purpose:

  • The individual will work closely within the Building Services team to support the offering of M&E design and surveying services.

  • Assisting with preparation of design calculations utilising both industry standard software and spreadsheets.

  • Produce tender documentation to include drawings, specifications, risk assessments and pricing schedules.

  • Carry out site surveys and complete feasibility reports and budget costs.

  • Accompany Senior Engineers to client/design team meetings, recording minutes.

  • Understand and work in accordance with regulations, standards, and guidance, including Building Regulations, British Standards and CIBSE guidance.

  • Maintain service quality standards and a culture of continuous improvement and constructive expertise.

  • Participate in relevant internal/external training initiatives.

  • Keep abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice, in particular focusing on Net Zero initiatives and low carbon technologies.

  • Communicate and interact with others coherently, in accordance with the organisation's values.
